Mexico City offers women's only buses
MEXICO CITY (UPI) -- A women's only bus service in Mexico City has become popular with female travelers, a report said. "We're not just talking about sexual harassment, about rapes or about incidents of violence. But also about touching, staring, which is what generally occurs on public transport," Network of Passengers' Transportation for the Government of the Federal District Director Ariadna Montiel said. Some women using the bus service reportedly said it made their daily trips more enjoyable, CNN reported. A woman said the bus service was, "excellent -- more comfortable too because it doesn't make as many stops and we go super well."
